Company Overview

The company - trading as Computer Plus - was launched in the 90s by signage supplies veteran Malcolm Groger. Computer Plus then merged with Telpro Management, the South African distribution partners of Roland wide format printers. However after discovering that the two companies had separate visions, the company was spun off on its own and in 2002 Sytech Supplies was launched.

We are a leading importer, distributor and reseller of wide format digital printers, vinyl cutting plotters, CNC routers & engravers, digital print vinyl, colour sign vinyl, outdoor display solutions, dye sublimation systems & equipment, solvent inks, flexible PVC substrates, PVC signex board, tensioning systems and graphic design software.

We are the official African brand partners and importers of products by West End Products of Georgia in the USA, Graphtec Corporation in Europe, Metamark in the UK, Viccam CNC routers & engravers in China and LG Chem. We are also an authorized reseller of Roland wide format digital printers. Through innovative marketing and strong client relations, we consistently sell 40% of all wide format digital printers in our area of operation.

We are based in the city of Durban on the east coast of South Africa - the city that has the busiest marine port in Southern Africa. From here we have managed to build a strong brand presence in every major city in South Africa. Our footprint also covers several other African countries.

We have an Africa-wide distribution partnership for the products of West End Products, who manufactures the world's most used liquid adhesive vinyl removal products Vinyl-Off, Adhesive-Off and Ghost-Off.

We also are the South African distribution partners for the following brands: LG Chem (Vizuon vinyls, banner fabrics and PVC signex board) TechInk (Solvent Inks for large format printers) Metamark (Signage and digital printing vinyl) Graphtec (Cutting plotters) Siser (PVC heat transfer materials) RTape (application tapes) Viccam (CNC routers and engravers) Inktec (Dye Sublimation inks) Corel (CorelDraw Graphics Suite X4)

Our product range includes large format digital printers, routers & engravers, vinyl cutting plotters, colour sign vinyl, digital printing vinyl, PVC heat transfer products, solvents inks, dye sublimation inks, heat transfer equipment, reflective sheeting, magnetic sheeting, signex PVC board, banner printing fabrics, outdoor display solutions and signage, branding and promotions consumables.

We offer full training and consultation on the use of all products we stock and have a dedicated team to maintain, service and repair every product we sell.

Our management team consist of our CEO - Malcolm Groger, Sales Manager - Frank Frost, Technical Manager - Richard Haarhof and Store Manager - Paul Khubone.

We have a sales team of 7 that service our locally-based clientele, and prospects.
