Magnetic Sheeting
|
 |
Magnetic sheeting can be designed as magnetized strips that are laminated to a flexible plastic sheet and sold in rolls.
Cut to size and decorated, magnetic sheeting works well as temporary vehicle signs and large format display systems.
Basic bulk rolls of magnetic sheeting are uncoated and dark brown on both sides. One side is magnetized (strong side) and the other is not (weak side).
Standard rolls are 24.375" and 42" wide by 10, 25 or 50 feet long. Standard Thicknesses - .012" to .060", (+/- .003") All magnet thickness measurements
are taken before laminates are applied. The thicker the flexible magnet, the stronger it is.
Flexible magnetic sheeting can be laminated with a variety of high quality topcoats that are typically applied to the non-magnetic (weak) side.
The most frequently used laminates are vinyls or adhesives depending on the required function of the magnet.
Flexible magnetic sheeting can be cut into a number of different sizes.
Custom Cutting Capabilities
Precision equipment can cut any roll of flexible sheeting material to the size that your application requires. This is achieved using a combination of
state-of-the art computerized slitting and cut-off equipment.
Full Roll - Use full rolls of 24.375" and 42" wide by 10, 25 or 50 ft. for short print runs of various size final lengths.
Cut Sheet - Have your magnet pre-cut to fit your standard print press sheet size, or cut to a specific sign blank size or whatever size your
final application requires. Our high speed cutting equipment cuts full rolls to sizes as small as 2" x 2" with a tolerance of +/- .060" on either
dimension. Tolerances will vary depending on length of cut.
Slit Rolls - Keep the versatility of a full 25, 50 or 100 foot roll but have it slit to a smaller width. Slitting wheels slit a full roll
into several rolls of various widths as narrow as 2", with a precision of +/- .060".
Die Cut - Custom and standard shapes available
